May Gurney Wins UK Water Contract

May Gurney has won £43m of AMP5 utilities framework contracts from Anglian Water and South West Water to carry out water improvement works in the UK.

Two of the contracts, which are for the Anglian Water Programme Partner Civil and MEICA, cover the entire Anglian Water region and will run for three years after their commencement in March.

The £20m contracts include asset upgrades, maintenance and the enhancement of water treatment and waste water treatment facilities.

The company also received a £23m contract from South West Water for service development, mains laying and water rehabilitation, to be implemented over four years, according to constructioninquirer.com.
