Cesan to Improve Water Supply in Brazilian State

Water company Cesan will invest $45.3m to improve the water supply in the south-eastern Espírito Santo state of Brazil this year.

Cesan spokesperson told Business News Americas that the cities Guarapari and Vitoria have been alloted R$11.6m($7.3m) and R$10.4m ($6.5m) respectively.

In Guarapari, the main water supply system will be expanded using $6.17m and the remaining amount will be used for Araquém reservoir works.

In Vitoria city, the water reserve system will be expanded and a new reservoir will be built.

Cesan will also redirect the Ponte da Passagem water main and install new pipelines and pumping stations for the city’s water supply system.
