Brazilian State Utility to Invest $343m in Sanitation Projects

Brazilian state utility Casan plans to invest $343m in sanitation projects to upgrade water infrastructure in the state of Santa Catarina.

The state agency plans to upgrade facilities in 26 municipalities – a total of 40 projects – which will be undertaken following approval from the federal government.

A total of 10% of the funding for the projects will come from Casan while the remaining assistance will be secured from the federal government.
