Teijin to Install Wastewater Treatment System in Angola Factory

Marubeni Tekmatex has selected Teijin’s multi-stage activated biological process (MSABP) as the wastewater treatment system for a textile factory in Luanda, Republic of Angola.

Under the contract, Tenjin will install MSABP systems in the factory and provide necessary engineering, procurement and related supervision services.

The system will use multistage aeration tanks to enable the micro-organisms in each tank to be changed in an orderly manner, thereby forming a food chain in which highly concentrated or persistent effluent is decomposed.

The system will enable wastewater treatment with reduced sludge, reduced energy consumption and low maintenance.
