Thames Water Awards Water Contracts to Galliford Try JV

Galliford Try, MWH Treatment and Mott MacDonald’s joint venture, GBM, has been awarded a suite of contracts by Thames Water.

One contract, worth £28m, involves the development of sludge treatment and storage facilities at three waste water treatment works at Camberley, Chertsey and Crawley, UK, so that they comply with Nitrate Vulnerable Zone regulations.

Another, worth £27m, includes modification processes at Deephams waste water treatment works in Edmonton, London, to facilitate the removal of phosphates and improve sludge treatment at the site.
