Bion Waste Treatment Technology to Protect Chesapeake Bay

Bion Environmental Technologies has developed a new technology to protect local streams in Pennsylvania and Chesapeake Bay, US.

Bion’s new microaerobic digestion technology is designed to provide on-site nutrient treatment at a livestock farm before its wastewater gets the chance to flow into local streams and watersheds.

The treatment will result in reductions of nitrogen and phosphorus from animal waste.

Bion Environmental Technologies CEO Dominic Bassani said the new technology addresses the challenges that threaten the global water supply.
