Sulzer Finalises Cardo Flow Solutions Purchase

Sulzer has completed the acquisition of Cardo Flow Solutions for a total cash consideration of Skr5.9bn ($7.4bn).

Sweden-based Cardo Flow Solutions is a supplier of pumps and related equipment in the wastewater market.

The acquisition enables Sulzer to enter the wastewater pump market, which will account for 16% of the company’s sales.

Cardo will be combined into Sulzer Pumps as an additional global business area, which is expected to take about nine months.
