Scottish Water to Start Final Phase of Airdrie Project

Scottish Water is to start essential works for the final phase of the £22m Airdrie Environmental Project in Scotland, UK, this week.

The construction of a massive storm transfer sewer along the length of Victoria Place and the upgrade of the sewer network in Cairnhill Road will provide benefits for Airdrie’s environment and reduce the risk of flooding, according to Scottish Water.

Airdrie regularly experiences heavy rainfall and flooding and it is hoped that the project will eliminate these problems.
