FilterBoxx, Simpcw First Nation to work on water treatment projects

Simpcw First Nation and FilterBoxx Water and Environmental have signed a cooperation agreement to establish a partnership to work on water treatment projects within Simpcw First Nation’s territory in British Columbia, Canada.

Under the terms of the agreement, the partnership will work on water treatment projects in both the domestic and industrial sectors.

Simpcw First Nation chief Nathan Matthew said that there are a number of growing communities and potential mining projects throughout the company’s territory that require good water quality protection facilities to protect the environment.

FilterBoxx spokesman Dave MacDonell said that the partnership will allow communities and industrial projects to provide effective water quality management for the benefit of fish and wildlife habitat, and the safety of the general public’s water supply.
