MWC, Jindal to Develop Indian Water Projects

Philippines-based Manila Water Company (MWC) is to undertake six water projects in India as part of a joint venture agreement with India’s Jindal Water Infrastructure Limited.

MWC said that it was in the pre-qualification phase for the proposed projects.

There are two concession-type projects, two bulk water supply deals and two operating and maintenance agreements in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra states.

MWC said it will engage in water supply, wastewater and other environmental services in the three states to carry out planning and development of the water projects under a pre-arranged budget, according to mb.com.ph.
