Guangdong No.2 Wins $161m Water Project Contract

Guangdong No.2 Hydropower Engineering has been awarded a contract worth CNY1.1bn ($161m) from the government of Jieyang in Guangdong Province, China, for a water project.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Guangdong Chenzhou Water Investment, the Chinese engineering company will build and transfer the project’s hydraulic engineering works.

Guangdong Chenzhou Water Investment will handle the project’s financing and investment.

Construction will take place over a period of 17 months.

Guangdong Chenzhou Water Investment operates its business specifically in the provinces of Guangdong, Sichuan, Hunan and Yunnan.
