US City Breaks Ground for New Wastewater Plant

The City of Greenville and the US State of Texas have started construction of a new wastewater treatment plant with an investment of $23m.

Gracon Construction of Mesquite has been chosen to construct the new Sequencing Batch Reactor Wastewater Treatment Plant in Greenville.

The project includes replacing the existing plant, which was built in 1953 and received its last upgrade in 1980.

After the expansion, the plant’s capacity will increase six million gallons per day from its current treatment capacity of 4.23 million gallons.
