Berjaya to Build Wastewater Plants in China

Berjaya Corporation has won a concession contract from Xinan Public Asset Investment to build two wastewater treatment plants in Xinan County, Guandong Province, China.

Under the contract, the Malaysian company will also operate and maintain the two wastewater plants for 25 years.

Berjaya will implement the CNY200m ($30m) projects in phases and transfer the plants to the Chinese utility without any cost after the stipulated period.

The project is expected to generate a revenue of CNY1.07bn, according to thestar.com.
