Elga Process Unveils Compact Water Treatment System

Elga Process Water, a subsidiary of Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies, has introduced its compact water treatment system Ionpro LX, which produces up to 1,000 litres per hour of high purity deionised water for industry use.

Ionpro LX produces less than 0.2mS per centimetre conductivity, less than 500ppb organics and its total bacteria count is less than 100cfu per millilitre, meeting the requirements of pharmaceutical purified water.

The new water treatment system contains a fully integrated water treatment train of duplex softeners, a carbon block or granular carbon cartridge pre-filter, a tank and pump and low pressure reverse osmosis modules.

The sanitisation sequence is fully automatic and processes deionised water for use in industry applications such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
