GE and Miahona Sign Memorandum of Understanding

GE has signed a memorandum of understanding with Miahona, a subsidiary of Arabian Company for Water and Power Development, to support Saudi Arabia’s water reuse goals.

GE will combine its technological expertise with Miahona’s local knowledge of regional water needs to promote advanced membrane technology.

The companies will also co-operate on projects related to well injection by using GE’s water injection technologies.

Saudi Arabia’s water reuse market is expected to grow to $3.4bn between 2009 and 2016.
