Galliford Try JV Selected for UK Water Framework

A Galliford Try-led joint venture has been named as one of four partners on Yorkshire Water’s £330m Large Schemes framework in the UK.

Under the first two schemes, worth £25m, the joint venture will upgrade the Acomb Landing water treatment works in York and the Caldervale wastewater treatment works in Wakefield.

The joint venture also includes the US-based technical and management support services firm AECOM Technology Corporation.

The framework aims to renovate water and wastewater treatment works and schemes to enhance the quality of bathing water on the east coast of Yorkshire to meet the revised Bathing Water Directive.
