Capstone acquires 70% stake in Bristol Water

Suez Environment has completed the sale of 70% of Bristol Water through its subsidiary AGBAR to Capstone Infrastructure for €152m.

Suez Environment will remain a major operational shareholder, maintaining a 30% stake in Bristol Water’s regulated activities.

In addition, Suez, through its AGBAR subsidiary, will enter an operational and management agreement to ensure the continuity of Bristol Water offerings.

Bristol Water provides services to about 1.1 million inhabitants and achieved an annual revenue of €116m in March 2011.
