Innovyze introduces new storm water modelling application

Innovyze has introduced the V5.0 generation of its InfoSWMM 2D, a hydrodynamic geospatial stormwater modeling and management software application for software development and services company ArcGIS based in California.

InfoSWMM 2D will allow users to accurately build and analyse large two-dimensional models that simulate urban stormwater, sanitary sewers, river flooding and pollutant transport.

The solution will provide storm water management within the ArcGIS environment to help users predict the extent and duration of urban and rural flooding, Innovyze said.

Version 5.0 of InfoSWMM 2D simulates and predicts runoff quality, including buildup and washoff of pollutants from primarily urban watersheds.

It will enable users to employ 1D simulation to identify the location of flooding and 2D simulation to investigate the direction and depth of flood flows in specific areas.
