Ovivo wins two water treatment contracts in Asia

Canada based water technology firm Ovivo has won two contracts worth more than C$17m ($12.9m) for supplying water treatment solutions for two companies in Asia.

Under the terms of the first contract, Ovivo will be responsible for delivering a high pressure condensate polishing water system for a new large power plant in Southeast Asia.

The equipment will be supplied through Ovivo’s brands Christ Water Technology and Kennicott, and be up to the treated condensate quality standards specified for ultra-supercritical high pressure boilers.

The firm will be responsible for engineering, manufacturing and commissioning of two high pressure condensate polishing plants, which will be equipped with its CONESEP external regeneration system.

Ovivo is expected to deliver the equipment in September 2016.

The second contract has awarded by a printed circuit board manufacturer in China under which Ovivo will need to deliver an advanced process water supply and waste water treatment plant for the former’s new printed circuit production line.

Delivery for the technology system will be done in two phases, with the first one scheduled by year end and the second one to be delivered in the next year.

Financial details about each individual contract and name of the companies have not been disclosed.
