Primozone to provide ozone generators for drinking water treatment in Norway

Ozone water treatment solution supplier Primozone has been selected to provide high performance ozone generators for a drinking water treatment plant in the municipality of Bamble, Norway.

The Flåte VBA water treatment plant is being built to improve standards of hygiene and to remove colour from the drinking water. The treatment is based on an ozone bio-filtration process.

German company Hydro-Elektrik will provide the wider water treatment process technology.

Primozone CEO Anders Schening said that the project needed a high gas pressure to make the dissolution work.

"We manufacture the only ozone generators on the market that can provide an ozone pressure up to 2.2bar," he added.

"This project once again proves that the unique benefits of our ozone generators are indispensable and also ratified by established suppliers on the ozone water treatment market."

Hydro-Elektrik manager-director Peter Paskert said: "The Primozone ozone technology has many crucial benefits and we are excited to work with Primozone on this project."
