RWL Water to acquire South American water treatment firm

RWL Water Group is to add Argentine water treatment firm Unitek to the RWL Water portfolio of companies.

RWL Water hopes to use Unitek’s experience in water treatment in South America for cross-business synergies with itself and its other companies.

RWL Water president and CEO Henry Charrabé said that Unitek fits well with RWL Water’s culture and technology.

"When completed, the addition of Unitek will provide us with the credibility, expertise and speed to respond to almost any water treatment need for our customers in Latin America," he said.

RWL Water will expand Unitek’s product offerings to the region and broaden the technical expertise available to its clients.

Unitek engineers apply membrane-based technologies, including reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, membrane bioreactors, electrodeionisation and ozonation.
