Treatec21 to provide technology for wastewater purification project in China

Treatec21 Industries’ water treatment systems licensee and distributor ADB International Group has announced that the company’s industrial wastewater purification technology will be used for a project in Guangdong, China.

The agreement was signed between Treatec21 and Shunde Dowell Technological and Environmental Engineering.

With the signing of the agreement, Treatec21 now has major customers in Israel, Europe, Asia, India and Africa. Shunde Dowell will use the company’s technology to purify 4,900m³ of water a day.

Treatec21 has started installation of its water treatment system and hopes to commercialise the project soon.

The company has appointed ADB as the exclusive distributor of its water treatment systems and technology in Australia and New Zealand and granted distribution rights to all of North America.

ADB International regional sales and marketing director Tal Yoresh said that completion of the Guangdong province project in China will become the company’s main reference point to create new opportunities in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

"A facility of this scale, that can purify such a large, daily, cubic metre volume, provides an impressive commercial prototype for many potential customers in our region," Yoresh added.

ADB said that the commercial prototype will also present key commercial opportunities in major North American markets.
