Tri-Tech and Rubicon sign agreement to promote irrigation systems

China-based Tri-Tech has signed a initial three-partnership agreement with Australia-based irrigation solution provider Rubicon Global and its affiliate Rubicon Water System to promote their water irrigation systems in the Chinese market.

As per the terms, Tri-Tech will exclusively distribute Rubicon’s Total Channel Control (TCC) products and will be responsible for developing the business, market the products, drive the sales, and provide project management and technical support.

Rubicon will help Tri-Tech with the project support, product training, and customer training for the TCC products.

Rubicon CEO Bruce Rodgerson said the company chose Tri-Tech based on its market insight and global vision in the water information sector in China.

"With Tri-Tech’s ten years of experience in China, wide business coverage, well developed customer relationships, and mature sales and marketing networking, we expect our cooperation with Tri-Tech will position us well for all-around expansion in China," Rodgerson added.

Tri-Tech joint CEO Gavin Cheng said the company conducted market research on the practical utilisation of the TCC system in the Chinese market.

"Given the Chinese government’s support for information technologies in irrigation, water-efficiency irrigation projects and upgrading agricultural water infrastructure information systems, we believe that the application of TCC system in domestic irrigation districts has great potential to meet market needs," Cheng added.

The TCC irrigation products are automatically controlled systems with network communication, and that manages and controls water distribution and monitors stable water flow by using photovoltaic energy.

TCC irrigation systems equipped with a number of functions including historic water levels indicator, and irrigation time identifier which aids in reducing water usage and cost.

Tri-Tech is a China based provider of turn-key water resources management, water and wastewater treatment, industrial safety and pollution control services.
