CWDH Secures Hong Kong Sewage Project

Chun Wo Development Holdings (CWDH) has secured a HK$710m (US$91.5m) contract from the drainage services department of Hong Kong to build the Tuen Mun western trunk sewerage project.

The project includes building a trunk sewer of about 6km long and a sewage-pumping station to improve the flow capacity of the sewage collection system in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong-based company will use a tunnel-boring machine for pipe construction over a 4km stretch of the trunk sewer.

Construction is expected to be completed by 2014, according to trenchlessinternational.com.
