Manchester City FC selects Xylem as official water technology partner

Manchester City Football Club has selected Xylem as its official water technology partner under a multi-year partnership.

Xylem’s partnership will also extend to City’s sister club New York City FC and the Manchester City women’s team.

Under the partnership, which is the first deal of its kind in the premier league, Xylem will spread awareness about the global water challenges and solutions.

Besides, together with the Club, Xylem will work on its social investment platform, Xylem Watermark projects, which include the construction of water towers to improve access to clean water in global communities.In addition, Xylem branding will be featured at the Club’s Etihad Stadium during match days and at the City Football Academy.

Over two billion people in the world do not have access to clean drinking water at home and 443 million school days are lost each year owing to water-related illnesses while women and children spend over 200 million hours collecting water daily, according to the company.
