Mark Pothecary studied biochemistry while an undergraduate at the University of Bath before moving to London to obtain his Masters and PhD the William Harvey Research Institute, part of the Queen Mary College between 2002-2006.
There, he studied the biochemical effects of red wine polyphenols on the production of nitric oxide in blood vessels and the subsequent control of blood pressure.
Mark joined Malvern in 2008 as a product technical specialist for the Zetasizer Nano and Viscotek products concentrating on bioscience SEC applications.
He is now the Americas product manager for our chromatography products.

Natalia Dadivanyan, application specialist XRD Natalia Dadivanyan has studied chemistry in Moscow State University, Russia.
After completing her master thesis on synthesis and characterisation of polymer liquid crystalline films, Natalia moved to University of Freiburg, Germany, to obtain her PhD degree working on liquid crystalline elastomers.
This was followed by a post-doc position in the Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands, where Natalia focused on organic semi-conductors.
In 2012, Natalia joined PANalytical as an application specialist XRD in Almelo, the Netherlands.

Michaela Kastanek is an ASD chemometrics specialist on the SummitCAL Solutions Team. She holds a BS degree in Biology from Colorado State University.
She has been with ASD for eight years and has worked on varied research projects involving pulp and paper, mining, art preservation, biomass characterisation in feed crops, oyster health characterisation, and many more.
Michaela is the principle trainer for the TerraSpec Halo instrument, as well as ASD’s instrumentation and chemometrics classes.
She has travelled around the world teaching fundamentals on ASD instruments and chemometrics.
