GoAigua launches smart water platform in US

GoAigua claims to be the brainchild of Global Omnium, a major European water utility based in Valencia, Spain.

Having 130 years of operating experience and over four million customers across the world, Global Omnium combines expertise of a large utility and advance technology.

GoAigua is aiding cities in Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa navigate their water digital transformation.

GoAigua US subsidiary CEO Pablo Calabuig said: “We have a unique value proposition. Our platform and solutions were developed by utility operators and IT professionals, and have been helping more than 400 utilities save billions of gallons of water, improve energy efficiency, and become incredibly resilient systems.”

GoAigua combines real-time and historical information from the SCADAs, GIS, ERP, AMI, CMMS, IoT sensors, and other important systems of the utility.

It processes over six billion data points annually to offer drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation systems with operating results.

The firm also recently expanded its team with the inclusion of Brad Dreier as vice president of business development, and Ken Wong as director of implementation and customer success.
