CD-Lab takes over distribution channel for wastewater pipeline inspection software WinCan

Switzerland based technology solution developer CD-Lab has acquired Pipeline Analytics unit from Envirosight to strengthen the reach of its WinCan pipe inspection and asset management software across global markets.

Pipeline Analytics operates as exclusive distribution and support channel for the wastewater pipeline inspection software across North and South America.

CD-Lab general manager Martin Hien said: "Pipeline Analytics has exceeded the sales and market share targets we’ve set for the last five years, and has most recently contributed to the overwhelmingly successful launch of our new WinCan VX platform.

"Acquiring this company helps us consolidate our global sales channel, which already includes direct subsidiaries in Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom."

Pipeline Analytics business manager Mike Russin said: "Infrastructure maintenance is becoming much more sophisticated in terms of big data, enterprise scope and third-party integration.

"With this substantial investment by CD-Lab, our customers can expect the same unrivalled support from our trusted team, but with the assurance that WinCan developers are focusing even more intently on the needs of customers in the U.S., Canada and other regions throughout North and South America."

In 2013, CD-Lab had partnership deal with Electro Scan to offer integrated solution to the wastewater industry for sewer pipeline assessment.
