Trimble launches latest version of Trimble Unity Remote Monitoring software

Trimble has introduced the latest version of its Trimble Unity Remote Monitoring software for wastewater, water, and stormwater utilities.

The 4.7 version of the software offers new visualisation and analytics capabilities, which inturn allows utilities to take informed decisions such as on capital improvements, maintenance activities, and capacity planning.

The firm launched the latest version of the software at WEFTEC, an annual water quality technical conference and exhibition held in Chicago, Illinois from 23 to 29 September.

The Trimble Unity Remote Monitoring software enables water, wastewater and stormwater utilities to capture, review and manage data collected from the firm’s Telog family of Internet of Things (IoT) wireless data recorders for combined sewer overflow and sanitary sewer overflow.

This version offers tools that aid utilities in making capital improvements and prioritising operational resources to those areas are in greater need across their network.

Furthermore, the software integrates seamlessly with Telog Enterprise software. It is claimed to be easy to use, and offers clear reporting and advanced analytics including intuitive GIS map-based data visualisation, and new spatial visualisations.

Its intuitive GIS map-based data visualisation tool with charting and tabular views allows better engineering analysis for collection system planning and management.

The new spatial visualisations on heatmaps for risk and hotspot analysis allows boosts the speed of identification and response to sewer overflows, besides inflow and infiltration (I&I) events.

The latest version also offers custom field data annotations and enhanced self-service reporting. These facilities allow greater clarity in communication and documentation of events and operations across a company.

Furthermore, use of Telog wireless data recorders allows modern statistical analysis to be done, besides capturing wastewater data.
