Black & Veatch Secures Scottish Water Project

Black & Veatch, in a joint venture with Morrison Construction, has secured a £31m ($48m) contract to construct a stormwater project in Scotland.

The project includes design and implementation of the initial phase of a stormwater management project, which will improve surface water quality for more than 80,000 people in north and east Ayrshire.

The first phase of this work will take place between Gatehead and Irvine.

The initial element of the project is scheduled for completion in January 2013.
