Senepar Plans $54m Sanitation Improvements Project

Senepar, the water utility of the Brazilian state of Parana, is to invest R$90m ($54m) by 2013 in improving sanitation services in the city of Foz do Iguaçu.

The investment will improve the city’s potable water supplies and expand its wastewater collection and treatment, according to waterworld.com.

The project will replace or install 4,225m of sewerage pipelines and build 73km of sewerage collector pipelines, as well as pipelines connecting with wastewater treatment plants on the Parana River.
