Tri-Tech to Expand Chinese Water Treatment Plant

Tri-Tech Holding has been awarded a CYN130m ($20m) contract for the expansion phase of a water treatment plant in the city of Ordos in China.

The company will provide design optimisation, procurement, installation, start-up and commissioning, and operation and maintenance services for the project.

With the expansion phase, the plant will produce about 104,000 cubic metres of water per day treated via the traditional flocculation, sedimentation and conventional filtration process, 50% of which will undergo ultra-filtration and nano-filtration treatment processes.
