IVRCL Secures $101m Indian Water Contract

IVRCL Infrastructures & Projects has secured Rs4.5bn ($101m) of contracts in India through its water division.

The company secured contracts in the states of Tamil Nadu, Rajastan and Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam in Gujarat.

The first contract under the Hogenakkal Water Supply Project is worth Rs3.15bn ($70m) and will build trunk mains, pipelines, reservoirs, overhead tanks and booster stations in Tamil Nadu.

Another contract, worth Rs397m ($8.9m), will construct sewer systems and ancillary works in Bikaner, Rajastan.

The other Rs964.8m ($21m) project is from Sardar Sarovar Nigam for the construction of canal earthworks in Gujarat, economictimes.com.
