KISTERS is running the WISKI User Conference 2014 on 24 and 25 June in Aachen, Germany. Repeating the success of 2012, German and international users will meet at this year’s bilingual event. Simultaneous translation into both English and German is assured on both days.

On day one delegates meet at the hypermodern SuperC, the new event location of the RWTH Aachen University. The first day’s agenda covers:

In the evening, we move to the Lousberg in Aachen, where we will have dinner at the spectacular revolving restaurant Belvedere.
Day two is ‘Open Office’ day at KISTERS’ new location. ‘Open Office’ gives you a chance to talk to us face-to-face; meet product managers, project managers, developers; and support people in walk-in workshops, presentations and short trainings. Alternatively, you can join one of the intensive seminars on offer:
- Intensive workshop ‘Hydrology in the Web: Web portals as a communication platform’
- Intensive workshop ‘The Bavarian Project: benefits for all’
- Walk-in workshops on any of the following topics: WISKI, KiWQM, SODA, KiDSM, WISKI Web, WISKI and GIS, KiScript, QA, support, databases and administration
- Roundtable with users and KISTERS employees on the theme ‘Trends & Hot Topics’
Contribute with your own WISKI topic
Contribute to the conference by sharing your expertise with the user community. There is a 25 minute session on day one where you can give a talk or presentation. Presentations are accepted in either English or German and will be translated while you speak.

Attendance
The event starts on 24 June at 9am and finishes on 25 June at approximately 3pm. A meet-and-greet dinner will be held on 23 June at 8pm for those arriving early.
Conference fee: €220 per person, including VAT.
This includes admittance to the conference, soft drinks and coffee breaks, meals, evening events and access to conference materials in the visitor area of KISTERS’ website (requires registration).
