RWL Water and Praxair sign agreement to deliver wastewater treatment solutions

Water, wastewater and reuse applications provider, RWL Water has entered a joint marketing agreement with Praxair to sell and distribute products and systems that utilise pure oxygen for wastewater treatment.

Praxair supplies industrial gases and applications technologies worldwide.

RWL Water USA operations chief executive officer Peter Gross was quoted by Water World as saying: "This cooperation with Praxair brings customers proven pure oxygen aeration equipment, the application knowledge to maximise treatment system advantages and the capability to reliably provide the industrial gases needed to support the installation."

RWL Water specialises in desalination, waste-to-energy, wastewater aeration and treatment, and recovery and reuse for both industries and municipalities.

The services provided by the companies when integrated with each other, can aid municipalities and industries in terms of reducing sludge volume, increase in capacity, reduced energy consumption and better nutrient removal.

Praxair national business development director Roman Grosman was quoted by Water World as saying: "Together, RWL Water and Praxair will be able to offer plant operators an unrivalled portfolio of technologies and equipment for the aerobic treatment of wastewater."
