Whitewater and Brown and Caldwell sign smart water network management agreement in US

Israel-based smart water network management software technology provider Whitewater Technologies (WWT) has signed an agreement with engineering consulting firm Brown and Caldwell (BC) of the US to develop smart water network management solutions.

The co-operation agreement will combine BC’s management consulting and IT integration experience with the WaterWall and BlueBox systems, to deliver turnkey solutions to align the utilities’ IT and OT environments and drive network efficiencies.

At present, WWT and BC teams are working together on opportunities, team development, training and certification work.

Whitewater Technologies CEO Issey Ende said the company is working together with Brown and Caldwell to gain from the synergy of the two companies’ innovation and ingenuity.

"Being able to team with a trusted leader in environmental engineering consulting is very complementary, as we will provide the product and data-driven technology together with Brown and Caldwell’s wealth of process and procedural knowledge and information technology management experience," Ende added.

The two companies are expected to develop solutions that will benefit end users by improving workflow management, knowledge sharing, operational optimisation, total water quality monitoring, and critical security awareness.

Brown and Caldwell vice president Tommy Bernard said Whitewater Technologies shares the company’s commitment to deliver solid solutions and excellent client service.

"Brown and Caldwell is continually seeking ways to support our clients’ vision and provide smart water solutions for water quality analytics and water network management through our Utility Performance practice," Bernard added.
