CSO Technik Joins Business Leaders around the World in Bid to Tackle Climate Change

28 September 2009

2009 has been a dramatic year for the climate change agenda and it is hoped this will conclude in a new international climate deal to be signed in Copenhagen in December.

Over the last two years The Prince of Wales' Corporate Leaders' Group (CLG) has been building up momentum in the international climate negotiations through the Bali and Poznan communique#233;s. The communique#233;s have reinstated a message to the governments that the international business community requires a strong and effective international climate structure.

The Copenhagen communique#233; on climate change is a short and forceful statement that highlights the key factors of climate change that have come from businesses over the last two years.

The aim is to have over 500 signatories from companies across the globe, with every G20 country represented.
